Working in the furniture business for several years as an upholster having a reputation for perfection and quality he quickly became a leader and instructor for others to learn from.

He is noted for his excellent expertise in quality workmanship and experience over the past 31 years.

In 1978 Ronald Dorsett bought the upholstery division of Wellington Hall Furniture in Thomasville, NC with a minimum staff, from then forth Dorsett Upholstery was established in Thomasville, North Carolina, and has grown strong for the past 31 years. With the same excellent quality that is still produced today.

Pat joined Dorsett Upholstery in 2002 Office Manager/Customer Care Specialist. She has been and continues to be the asset responsible for complete customer satisfaction. Together Pat and Ronald are a great team. Their goal is to provide each designer the opportunity to deliver to their client the most satisfying furniture purchase experience possible.

Shirley has 18 years her industry and has been with Dorsett Upholstery for 5 years in our accounting office.		 Steve Casey joined Ronald and Pat in 2005. With over a decade in the custom upholstery business, and displaced by the growing trend of import furniture, it was a natural fit for he and Ronald to preserve and insure that American built, quality furniture will continue to be produced in the Triad region.
