Q: Do you sell directly to the public?
A: We are a commercial furniture manufacture and sell to interior designers. If you are an individual looking to buy our furniture we can help please use our contact us form.

Q:  Do you offer COM (customer's own material)?
A: We do not stock any fabrics we're strictly COM including leathers. Once our clients select the frame style we provide them with the yardage needed.

Q: What quality controls do you have in place?
A: Starting with maple frames we apply eight-way hand tied seat construction. Our cutting room performs the match cutting and sewing of your fabric begins. Well experienced upholstering employees stuff the cushions and prepare the piece for final inspection. Each piece is thoroughly checked upside-down and inside-out, for loose threads, final dimensions and cushion proportions.
A general overall inspection is made before we ship any finished product.

Q:  How long does it take for delivery once I place an order?
A: After we receive 50% deposit and a written PO order with all instructions, if its one of our standard frames 8 to 10 weeks.

Other pieces like copies or pattern changes, the time frame depends on the difficulty of the design. We can determine additional information from a photo contact us.

Q: How do you ship can I use my carrier?
A: Yes, customers can use their own carrier.. We ship by common carrier prepaid by Dorsett to a warehouse of your choice. Once your pieces arrive at the destination then our customers normally finds an in home delivery service to deliver to their clients. We do have a few local
deliver services in NC that offers North and South destinations.

Q:  What are your terms?
A: A 50% deposit with the order and remaining due before shipping. We invoice our customers to collect the freight charges.

Q:  What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Check, Money Order and Cash

Q:  Where is your furniture made?
A: In our manufacturing facility here at; Dorsett Upholstery Thomasville, NC.
We do not use imported frames! All of our frames and exposed chairs are made in the USA from hardwoods. We receive our exposed wooden chair frames knocked-down (KD) and assemble them in house.
